100 Heads for Haiti

I was recently asked to take part in a charity exhibition called 100 Heads for Haiti held by Spur Design here in Baltimore. Basically, the exhibition will consist of floating heads on a white background. It will be held on April 10th, and each of the heads (by 100 different designers and illustrators) will be sold for $100 each. All proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders.

watercolor and acrylic, 7 x 9

Very nice! The negative space hair was a good choice considering it had to be floating. I love how soft the face is compared with the starkness of the background and flowers.

Sooo...can I just go ahead and buy this? Or do I have to be In Baltimore? This is a serious offer.

Been following your work for a while.

Beautiful! Love the negative frame created by the hair.

Hey, great looking illustration. Like the way the hair is the same like the background.
I'm actually also painting a girl with flowers(roses) in her hair...but it't totally different.
Nice eyes...
