Zombies in Love

This February I'm participating in a show entitled Zombies in Love at the Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, CA. If you know me, you'll know that I absolutely adore zombies of all kinds; slow ones, fast ones, magical ones, rabid ones. So needless to say I was super excited when I was asked to take part in this show. Here's my piece for it, done in watercolor and acrylic.

wow, I'm not much of a zombie fan but this is pretty slick man. Those lips and that hand look SO nice, and the folds. Great piece!

Thanks so much guys!

CGriffin - this is done on Arches coldpress watercolor paper. first worked on it in watercolor, then i applied matte medium over the entire image with a roller to give it a gritty feel, and then painted the rest in acrylics.

I loves me some thick thick cold press textured paper.

Great piece as usual Jeremy.

Ridiculous dude. I like that you broke a zombie taboo by giving her some sort of expression alluding to her longing for the skull dude. Though my favorite part might be the attention paid to her receding hairline. Needless to say, you know your zombies

My watercolorpaper always get so bubbly. I don't like that.... I have to try it on your kind of brand i think!
